A renowned real estate prodigy, Kurt Rappaport began working in real estate part-time when he was just 19, while attending the University of Southern California. He eventually moved on to work at Merrill Lynch Realty and Fred Sands Estates before joining the boutique firm of Stan Herman, Stephen Shapiro and Associates in 1995 where Rappaport's great instincts proved him to be one of the best agents in the business. In 1999, Rappaport partnered with Shapiro and founded WEA.

In 2004, Rappaport closed the largest private home transaction in Los Angeles history; he has handled more sales above $10,000,000 than any other broker in history. In 2004 and 2005, Rappaport was California’s #1 top-grossing real estate broker and has been featured in ABC World News Tonight, Nightline, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, CNBC, Variety, and others. Rappaport currently resides in Beverly Hills.
