On Bellagio Road, the home of late philanthropists John and Marion Anderson sold to a pair of limited liability companies for $11 Million less than the original asking price.

Situated beyond the East Gate of lower Bel-Air, the Mediterranean-style home features a domed entry, five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms in its nearly 10,200 square feet of interior space. There are hand-painted ceilings in the living room, a wood-paneled family room and separate maid’s quarters. His and hers bathrooms and an office make up the master suite.

A swimming pool, two cabanas, a lighted tennis court, a pavilion and lawns lie within the 1.7 acres of grounds.

Richard Ehrlich and Stephen Shapiro of Westside Estate Agency were the listing agents.
