‘New Girl’ Zooey Deschanel sells her old place for top dollar
Actress Zooey Deschanel, who bought a new home in Manhattan Beach earlier this year, has sold her old house in Hollywood Hills for $2.33 million — about 6% over the asking price.
The single-story traditional, built in 1933, came on the market in April for $2.195 million and was pending sale in about 10 days. Deschanel bought the house from Oscar-nominated actor Mark Ruffalo in 2009 for $1.65 million.
